How I work

The three-stages applied in the learning process

1) Preparing the lessons, Goals set

2) Review progress

3) Finalising, check goals achieved

Initially, find out what concerns the student the most, aim to pinpoint any concept misunderstandings, weaknesses in learning the materials, and plan how to achieve what can be done in the time permitted.

Following through with the plan and adapting as necessary in reaction to how well the student is understanding the materials.

Targeting instruction according to the syllabus, and checking the pace the lessons are progressing is meeting the time allocated.

Checking how well complex ideas and problems are understood by the student.

New exercises arranged for the student to do. Ensuring the lessons are interactive.

Checking answers to questions demonstrate the student understands the topics taught,

Frequent questions, and in cases of exam preparation, past papers are gone though.

Frequently showing the student progress they are making compared to the start of the sessions. This builds independent problem-solving abilities and in turn confidence.
